Nick Reynolds
Known by members as the walking "Nickopedia", Nick Reynolds is the driving force behind Reynolds Strength and Managing Director of 318 Fitness. He oversees coaching, programming, equipment, maintenance, staff development, and the continual growth of the facility.
The Athlete
Nick's sporting journey spans sprinting, rugby, bodybuilding, and powerlifting. From competing as a 100m sprinter and rugby winger to stepping on bodybuilding stages and breaking powerlifting records, he has lived the journey he now coaches others through.
A competitive bodybuilder through NABBA Inc and NZIFBB, turned powerlifter competing in IPF and GPC federations, Nick has earned national records, national titles, and world championship success.
The Coach
Nick coaches everyone from first-time gym members to competitive athletes, helping them build strength, confidence, structure, and real results.

Alongside coaching, Nick oversees all equipment, maintenance, staff development, and facility improvements at 318 Fitness. Whether he's coaching on the gym floor, sourcing new equipment, fixing machines, mentoring staff, or planning the next upgrade, he is always working to make the gym better for every member and visitor.
Throughout his career, Nick has been deeply involved in growing strength sports and building community. From organising bodybuilding competitions, preparing athletes for the stage, and competing himself, to later competing in powerlifting and running competitions, seminars, fundraisers, and community events, he has always been passionate about bringing people together through strength.
He has coached athletes to national titles, world championships, pro cards, personal bests, and life-changing transformations — but his greatest passion remains helping everyday people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
Based at 318 Fitness – The Mecca of Physical Culture on the Kāpiti Coast, Nick leads a team committed to building stronger bodies, stronger minds, and a stronger community.
